What are we looking for?
When you look out of a junction what are you looking for? Cars? Trucks?
No. You aren’t. If you think you are, are you perhaps kidding yourself???? When was the last time you went to a junction and said to yourself “Oh I hope there are lots of Cars and Trucks at the junction”???
You look for GAPS.
As you approach a junction on the main road are you thinking about your speed and trying to make eye contact with the cars on the side road???
 
Who are the people we carry in our cars with us? How much do we concentrate on the drive and try to ensure we prevent crashes?
 
What are the possible consequences?
