PASS PLUS EXTRA IS A ROAD SAFETY INITIATIVE RUN BY DERBYSHIRE
ROAD SAFETY PARTNERSHIP TO REDUCE THE RISK OF COLLISIONS IN YOUNG DRIVERS, AND UPON SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETING A ROAD SAFETY
PRESENTATION (2 HOURS) THE YOUNG DRIVER IS GIVEN A VOUCHER TO SUBSTANTIALLY REDUCE THE COST OF THE PASS PLUS SCHEME (with
participating instructors).
The picture above is of two of our recent pupils, both passed with us and
have benefitted from the scheme.
A new driver is more likely to have an accident in the first year after
passing their test than any other time in their motoring career.
New drivers make up just 10% of licence holders,
but are involved in 29% of accidents.
1 in 6 male drivers between 17 and 24 have an accident within the first 6 months of passing their driving
test!

to acquire.
As
insurance companies helped introduce the scheme, they are offering up to 30% discounts on first year premiums as soon
as you insure your own car.
