We provide individual 1-2-1 tuition for intensive courses, which can be designed to fit around your commitments.
You do not necessarily need to take a week off (although this is possible depending on your requirements), as many people prefer to do the courses around work, while studying for the theory test, which must still be passed before booking the practical test – the theory test certificate number is needed when booking.
Our instructors are happy to take you to a nearby alternative test centre to get an earlier date as necessary.
You do not need to have passed a theory test before starting an intensive course, as we will help you by explaining and coaching towards the Hazard Perception Test, and help you study successfully for the Theory Test.
Our aim is to get you driving safely and through your test quickly!

How Does An Intensive Driving Course Work?
By organizing your training into longer sessions closer together, this cuts down on previous lesson recaps & getting ‘warmed up’ – taking as much as 20% of a lesson alone. Add in travelling time between training areas to teach specific subjects and pick-up/drop-off from home, your actual learning time can be quite a small percentage of that hour.
By having more intensive driver training, you will retain more information plus there are no long gaps in between driving lessons. Also, there is a tendency when people are having one hour per week for other things to take priority over your lessons – when you commit to an intensive course you retain the enthusiasm and make sure you look forward to driving.
Is An Intensive Course For You?
Some people aren’t in a rush to take the driving test & are happy just taking 1-hour lessons per week – that’s fine. But for those people who want to save a little money plus take the test in a short period of time, intensive driving courses are the way to go.
Having said that, it’s hard work concentrating for a 2-3 hour session – especially in the early stages of training – but your lessons will be divided in to logical blocks with regular breaks so you stay refreshed and alert.
There are 3 main types of intensive course currently running which you can see above. All training however is flexible to fit around your own personal circumstances. Just ask if you would like training over a longer period, such as a semi-intensive driving course or if you already have a test booked we can work to that date for you.
